Mental Health Awareness Week. Most Heroic Hound!

Pug in a basket!

Here’s Doug the Pug Therapy Dog, sitting proudly as a Therapy Dog, with his Most Heroic Hound Award rosette.

In 2016, Doug won Noel FitzPatrick’s SuperDogsLive ‘Most Heroic Hound Award’ at the National Pet Show in London for voluntary work supporting positive mental health and emotional well being.

We felt extremely proud to be part of an awakening and recognition and acknowledgement of looking after positive mental health and how essential this is for our physical wellbeing.

Mental health discussions have come a long way in three years. But we still have a long way to go. It’s good to talk. And talk we must.

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, part of mental health awareness month, every May.

Every day and every week of every month should be dedicated to how we feel inside to keep us happy, safe, productive and able in our personal and professional lives.

Take care of yourselves, friends. And take care of those around you too.

Everyone we meet is fighting a battle we know nothing of. We believe that. Even those who appear bright and strong .....
